Line Filters play a key role in keeping compressed air to be free of any impurities.
Atmospheric air contains impurities like dust, various forms of hydrocarbons and water in the form of humidity. Once sucked in by the compressor this air is compressed and delivered to the line. Compressed air also included oily particles from oil injected compressors. These polluting agents which all work together can generate abrasive and corrosive material. This can damage the distribution lines over time, pneumatic devices and the product produced.
